The statistics are truly appalling...and very few Americans are aware of them. If you are a man in the United States, your odds of getting cancer at some time in your life are currently one out of two. Fully fifty percent of the men in this country are now expected to get cancer. If you are a woman, the odds are approaching forty percent. Cancer is now the leading cause of death in our children. And this is only one disease.
Most of us are aware that diet plays a critical role in our health problems. However, the other major contributing factor is chemicals (90-95% of cancer is attributable to chemicals that are in today’s environment)…and this is where we are woefully uninformed. Due to the tens of thousands of synthetic chemicals that have been added to the environment in the last 50-60 years (chemicals our immune systems never had to contend with), we are participating, without our consent, in an experiment that has gone terribly, terribly wrong. And we are using these chemicals daily, in the mistaken belief that they are safe.
If you would like some real answers as to what chemicals may be in you, how they got there, what they’re doing to you, how to reduce your exposure to them, and how to recover your health through avoidance of them…plan on attending what will undoubtedly be four of the best, most illuminating hours you have ever spent. Sue McDonald’s “Making Safer Choices in a Toxic World” receives rave reviews and educates one as to 1) the politics involved in keeping these chemicals on the market, and 2) why this information isn’t getting out to the public. She then tells you what you can do to protect both yourself and your family.
Co-owner of AMAC Water Products, LLC, Sue experienced an immune system "crash" in 1995 due to exposure to one too many synthetic chemicals in her home and it took her years to become functional again. Today she is one of Houston's leading authorities on environmental illness, educating people as to the harm that synthetic chemicals are doing to us and our children...and recommending changes we can make in order to protect ourselves.
Sue has appeared on both radio and television and has been named to the Citizens League for Environmental Action Now's (CLEAN's) prestigious list of Houston heroes. She offers periodic seminars dedicated to educating the public about the health risks of chemicals in our environment and she convincingly links these chemicals to everything from weight gain to insomnia to depression to fatigue to infertility to asthma to "hot flashes" to cancer (and much more). The good news is that she then tells us what we can do about it.
